Process
My goal with this video was to provide information on how lawns affect the environment and how weeds can be beneficial. I gathered information on the history of lawns in the United States and the culture that spread around having the perfect yard. I learned that much of this came to its peak in the 1950s and drew inspiration from mid century art and color palettes to give my video its visual language.
